What Would You Choose If You Walked Beside Jesus?
What if you could enter the world of Jesus and discover where your own decisions would take you?
I created The Kingdom at the Crossroads: An Interactive Journey Beside Jesus to make that question personal.
This is not a traditional Christian book that simply asks you to read from beginning to end.
You make the choices.
You enter the story as Asa, a fictional courier living during the time of Jesus. As the journey unfolds, you face decisions involving family, danger, injustice, mercy, loyalty, fear, truth, and faith.
Then the story stops and asks:
What would you do?
Your answer determines where you go next.
The experience contains hundreds of interactive sections, branching paths, meaningful decisions, and 24 different endings.
But there is one thing your decisions can never change:
Jesus.
Your choices can change Asa's fictional journey, relationships, discoveries, failures, consequences, and ending.
They do not rewrite the Gospel.
Jesus' identity, teachings, crucifixion, resurrection, and mission remain grounded in the canonical New Testament.
That distinction matters.
I wanted to create something immersive and entertaining without turning Jesus into a fictional character whose identity depends on the reader's choices.
Instead, the choices reveal something about you.
Would you protect your family even if someone else needed your help?
Would you pursue truth when doing so created risk?
Would fear influence your decisions?
Would you recognize the significance of Jesus before everyone around you did?
Would you follow when you did not yet know where the road would lead?
There is no single little path you are expected to discover.
There are 24 endings, and different decisions can lead to dramatically different journeys.
So I want to challenge you to experience it for yourself.
Start at Section 001.
Make the choices you would genuinely make.
Don't skip ahead.
Don't choose the answer you think sounds most religious.
Choose honestly.
Then see where your decisions take you.

What did my choices reveal about the way I respond to fear, mercy, truth, loyalty, risk, and faith?
Then start again.
Choose another road.
See where it leads.
